What Ballpark collects, and what it doesn’t.

Plain version: your food log is yours, meal photos are used to produce your estimate and then kept with your entry so you can see what it was based on, and nothing here is sold or used for advertising.

Meal photos and descriptions

When you log a meal with a photo or a written description, that content is sent to a third-party model provider to produce the estimate, then stored with your entry. It is not used to train models and it is not shared with anyone else.

Your log and profile

Entries, weights, and goals are stored in your private iCloud account via CloudKit. They sync between your own devices and are not readable by me in aggregate.

What Ballpark does not do

No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics SDKs, no selling or sharing of personal data, and no social features that expose your log to anyone else.

Waitlist email

If you sign up to be notified, your email address is stored solely to send you a single message when the beta opens. Ask and it will be deleted.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual entries at any time, and deleting the app’s iCloud data removes your log. Contact details will be added to the support page before outside testing begins.
